Sure you can put up all sorts of defensive barriers that are designed to keep the competition out, but as the folks in the military have found out over the ages, all defenses eventually fall.A much better strategy (and one that requires product management expertise) is to always be constantly innovating. This means that today&#039;s product will eventually be copies, but who cares because you are now selling tomorrows MUCH BETTER product. This is not easy to do, but ultimately it&#039;s the one thing that will ensure the long term success of your product...- Dr. Jim Anderson
