"Shop Talk" Q&A with PM Leaders features Alan Armstrong

If you haven’t yet checked out Red Canary, I encourage you to take a look. The site is produced by the executive search team at the Laudi Group, and features a regular hum of interesting news and opinions that have garnered significant readership since the site’s launch about 3ish years ago. The focus is the high-tech scene running from KW to Toronto to Ottawa  (specifically 416, 905, 519), but the articles will be of interest elsewhere.

This month Red Canary launched a feature called “Shop Talk“, where they interview and profile “minds that matter”. I was honored to be featured in this inaugural issue along with Toronto-area technology heavy weights Stephen Pollack (PlateSpin re-startup CEO), Lee Garrison (TPMA Exec and Riverdale Partners), and Roy Pereira (CEO, Shiny Marketing).

I laughed to myself when I read that independently, three out of the four features named Apple products as most admired products. I found Stephen’s response about networking gear to be  interesting because it was a much less obvious answer!

Hope you enjoy the interview!

- Alan
